So glad it's over for you, now you can get well and get busy putting all this behind you. You have such a wonderful attitude, I know you will be sitting on the lily pad shortly.

Sorry if I tell you something you already know. When I had open heart surgery my GP told me that it is easier to keep pain under control rather then get it under control. She said to take pain meds exactly when they were due, and not wait for pain to start again. Which would have been easier to do if the nursing staff was more cooperative. I also should have been far sighted enough to ask her to come by my room right after surgery, establish her as one of my doctors, and let her go and "arrange" for the nursing staff to realize to give me pain meds at exact time intervals. Rather than me have to call them and wait for whenever they felt they had time to do it.

Got it, do not wait for pain to start, take pain meds on time (well, unless they give you one of those morphine drips with a button, then it is up to you.)

Best wishes.

You forgot a nearly 68 year old hen frog. (Is that a thing?)

I figured out what DH/BF was trying to say: YOUR FROG IS SUBDUED-
---(LOL)
The tatas were no doubt a bribe to get me under the knife.

Actually I was going for more like the "log, bog thank you frog" type of thing.
Is logging a bog legal? It sounds...sticky.
