sore nose

Post by sansmail » Wed Jul 30, 2014 10:23 am

Hi, just started Monday night, sleeping really well but my poor little nose is so sore from the pressure of the pillow. Any suggestions of how to alleviate the soreness till my nose toughens up?

Thanks!

titty cream, er, I mean, lansinosh it helps a lot.... I'm trying to get used to a couple of pillows (p10 or pilairo q) and it's helping a lot... the first night with the q my nose hurt so bad I gave up part way through and went back to my ffm.

(I've been waiting for a chance to say "TITTY CREAM" ever since I got it... )

I agree on the lansinoh or other brand lanolin (it can be bought at Wal-Mart or target in the baby department near bottles and breast pumps). Also, try loosening your straps as loose as possible to still make a seal. They should not be held forcefully against your nares if you have well fitted pillows. Sometimes going up in the size of the pillows can help, because the seal can be made without using much force in the straps.

I found the small pillows felt right at first but moved and chafed. The large pillows feel odd but fit better I found. On a P10 and Nuance.

Loosen the straps and then route the hose up instead of down.

P10 doesn't "like" upwards hose in my experience.
