Buy now or wait

I'm currently using a non-cflex Remstar auto. I can get a brand new Remstar auto with c-flex for about half of the cpap.com price right now. I'm wondering if I should buy it, or wait around until the new M series machines start to trickle down. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Buy it! What you're really buying into is the efficacy of the Respironics algorithm more than the latest footprint of the M Series. I strongly doubt that this algorithm has changed, so save yourself the cost of the new unit.

Hmmm same machine but smaller and a slightly more convenient humidifier all for 3 times the price. The few bels and whistles are not worth the cost. If you can get the Remstar at half the CPAP.com price then pick it up. Deals like that don't come around too often.

Hi Grimace- This might be a stupid question but, here goes anyway. Are you having issues exhaling? If not, and it's not causing you compliance issues, why bother getting a new machine if Respironics hasn't changed their algorithm? If you are sleeping well now, you may not gain anything. Just my non medical, frugal opinion.

I was recently told by a Respironics salesman that the algorithm for the M machine is the same as the older series.

Humidifier appears to be much easier to clean and definitely easy to remove.
