Water still full this morning
Water still full this morning
I have a Remstar Pro C-Flex and for several days I have used not water. Also the numbers (0-5) are no longer displayed when I turn on my machine. Having headaches and dry mouth as a result. Any suggestions???
Re: Water still full this morning
If your local climate is humid right now, the machine won't use much water (it responds to ambient conditions), but if you have a dry mouth, you may be losing therapy air from mouth breathing while you're asleep, and might consider looking into a full face mask instead of a nasal one if that's what you're using. Certainly having headaches would point to lack of adequate treatment.

Check to make sure the humidifier is even working first......turn the setting up to the highest (5) and use the machine for 10 to 15 minutes or so and then stop and pull out the water chamber and see if it even warmed up at all.
Check all the connections. Unplug everything (even from electric source) and plug it back in. Maybe just a loose connection.
Check the basics first. Humidifiers do die unfortunately. If it didn't die then you can look for other possible factors.
If the chamber did heat up then post exactly which model machine and what setting you attempted to use and has it been raining lately where you live?

Re: Water still full this morning
it may just be that it's humid where the OP is and so the humidifier's not needing to add much to what's already in the air.
I too my 560 apart the other day, (out of curiosity) and while looking at the board, thought to myself "what's that funny looking chip". when I looked up the part number, I discovered that it's a humidity sensor.
