I started here three months ago. I'm on straight CPAP, pressure of 6, no oroblems adjusting; very lucky girl. However, my husband's snoring and REM behavior disorder was sooo bad, more than 2 hours consecutive sleep was impossible. His original sleep study said mild apnea (different specialist), but titrations done with my specialist tell a completely different story.
His AHI was 38, almost ALL of which are central, either secondary to closed head injury or meds for same), some periodic breathing, yet his oxygen stays at or above 97. He just had his second night on BIPAP-ASV with a Quattro FX full face mask, setting 13/15; I hope that's right as I'm just learning about his machine. AHI down to 1.2, and NO snoring, no leaks!
I know we are both incredibly lucky to find the right settings, the right masks from day one. We've got a terrific sleep specialist, DME and drumroll, please, terrific support here. I've picked up so much information reading posts on this site that made our transition to treatment so positive. It's so nice to finally have restorative sleep. We both forgot what that felt like.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
