Resmed C-Flex plus - Resmed S8 - Resmed Auto A-Flex

Post by Jason0269 » Tue Jul 08, 2014 6:16 pm

I bought a storage locker with a bunch of brand new still in sealed boxes cpaps and bipaps in it also a bunch of brand new masks and nasal pillow systems.

I've been beating myself over the head on how to sell these machines. Resmed won't buy them back and a cpap buyer online only offered $50 a machine.

If any one on here knows of away to sell these please let me know. There was 21 machine's total with humidifiers.

Thanks
Jason

Make a (very) detailed list of all of them and post it here. In some/many cases, $50 may be all they're worth.
Sounds a little suspicious that someone had that many machines stashed away in a storage locker.

The full name should be on the tops of the machines and the model #'s possibly underneath... Resmed made many machines, in diff. series, with diff. model #'s, and yours may just be out of date, tho' may make ok backup ones, but I also don't buy how you got them... sorry.

You should look at the bottom of the machine. Most of the time they have manufacture date on them.

That may answer your question what they are worth.

4 - Remstar S9 cpaps w/ humidifiers.

4 - Remstar Auto A-flex System one cpaps w/ humidifiers

10 - Remstar C-Flex Pro system one Cpaps w/humidifiers

2 - Remstar system one bipaps with humidifiers.

Yeah, it may seem strange but I've found a whole lot stranger at these lockers.

Thanks for at least attempting to help me!

S9 machines are made by ResMed....
Remstar is a Respironics term which is useless because they use that term on every model since they started making machines
There's about 6 or 7 different model names for the S9 Machines...so what are the model names? Model is clearly stated up by the LCD screen....

No way to determine which model by these descriptions because Respironics used the same name for models for the last 15 years. Look on the bottom of the blower unit for model numbers.
The Remstar part of the model name is useless...they are all called Remstars and have been for the last 15 years or so.

For you to ever sell them to anyone you need to know exactly what you are selling...you might take some time to look at the different models (old and new) to help you figure out exactly what you have
then go here and figure out how to check for hours of use which involves going into the clinical menu

What model are the S9s? Autoset or Escape??? Are you selling the S9s with the humidifiers? You said you found some masks too....what are they? Are they in the sealed packages they come from the manufacturer with? Look at the bottoms and see if you can tell when they were made. Also we would need to see pix with blower hours on each machine. Someone here can tell you how to do that if you decide to list them here.
