CPAP Tubing in Atlanta on a Sunday?

Post by stuart1 » Sat May 24, 2014 8:12 pm

I am out of town in Atlanta (Cumming) and forgot my CPAP tubing (I know, stupid mistake). Does anyone know if there is a DME open on Sundays that can sell tubing?

Sorry for the random post.

Thanks!

Stuart,
The only thing that comes to mind would be one of the hospitals. You would have to talk them out of a disposable CPAP hose.

I feel great sympathy since last year on an overnite, I left the power block for my CPAP at home and ended up without therapy for the night.

Check Craig's list in that area.

Some suggestions here. The dishwasher hose suggestion was interesting.

Also see if these people are open on a Sunday.

The prices on that website; Durable Medical Supply, Inc. are out of sight. They have a Medline shower chair on their site; $308.00; the same chair is on Walmart.com for < $120.00.

If you haven't found a solution, you might try Home Depot for a 1 1/8 inch bilge pump tubing and some duct tape to make everything fit. This is ridged tubing and somewhat flexible. It should be sfe for one night.

Ask if your hotel might have one in lost and found--beats nothing at all.
Someone at the desk might have help you don't expect--don't forget to tip generously.

Done, although it's a pain doing so on a tablet.
