Battery for S9 Elite

Post by karthikvprasad » Wed May 14, 2014 12:11 am

Hello all,

I asked this question a couple of years ago, but things change so much with products and options these days, so I am asking here again!
Is this still the best battery pack to buy for the S9 Elite? https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... mments-tab
If so, is cpap.com the best website to purchase this from? Please advise.
Main reason for buying: Long haul flights, travel use.

Thank you in advance !!
K.

I've never used a battery with my machine, but I wanted to add a question to the topic. Will insurance cover a battery for a cpap machine? Are there certain circumstances that would get insurance to pay for one? There is no way I could ever afford to pay $699 for a battery. Even $200 would really be pushing it for the rare times I might need it. But if I could get insurance to cover 85%, I would be willing to do it.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
