Seems like so many to choose from and you could spend a lot trying to find the perfect one.
I have only used the one that came with my cpap. Its a Mirage SoftGel Nasal CPAP Mask. But they sent me a medium. It seemed to work ok, but thought it seemed small for my nose. I am a large guy so a large nose. But not abnormal for my size. Also found a cutout online to check size and I would take a large. With the medium it presses against the sides and bottom of my nose.
So ordered a large in the same brand / type. At the time did not realize I could have saved some money and just order the gel mask part and it uses the same frame and strap.
The large does seem to fit my face better. But it leaks a lot. Does not make since. Seems to be a better fit but with the machine on I have to have the straps so much tighter to have no leaks. With the tighter straps its a lot more uncomfortable. Also even the cpap tech recommended I get a large for my size face.
Does it make any sense to try and find another brand/type mask? Or should I just make do with the medium in this brand.
Thanks for any suggestions

Re: What size nasal mask?
Keep looking. Many of us have tried many masks. Check out cpap.com, and you will find the prices reasonable compared to a regular DME. Can't guarantee your insurance co will pay them, but it is worth a try.
