This seems to be the latest version. Downloaded it just a couple of weeks ago.

As far as I know that's the latest version. There may be a newer version but I haven't heard and the usual source for ResScan hasn't mentioned it as far as I know.

FWIW...newer versions normally only address minor bug fixes..or add or subtract something in the office/DME/doctor side of the software that we don't use.
I haven't seen any real changes to the actual reports in the last 6 versions.

In fact the only difference worthy of note that I saw even from going from 3.xxx to 4.xxx was the speed of the download. They did improve that significantly. Still a bit slow but nothing like it used to be.

Thanks.

I went to see my Doctor this morning and for some reason I couldn't down load data nor produce a current report-could not keep the program running. I was late as usual then wondered if maybe there was an update.

Well, now I have a report and will email it to the good Doctor. Leaks have ranged from 9-14 (lpm if this is the correct parameter) with ResScan already accounting for normal leakage. AHI 3 - 6, and AI 0 to 2. Not bad, I guess.

I've definitely got some kind of problem though with computer or program. The program just closed on me. Oh well, what else is new.

ResScan often hangs up on me and gives me the "not responding" message.
Nothing new...saw it often on all the other versions too. It's far from perfect and still has a lot of its own little bugs.
That's one of the reasons I primarily use Sleepyhead for my personal evaluation...even with its bugs it is less annoying.

Yes, I agree about the reactions of the program. I posted a good bit some months ago about the graphic display of say eight hours in top graph and 30 min segment in the detailed window. I never could get the two graphs aligned. Not a major problem but it was and is aggravating when you are looking at an event in the top graph and want to locate it quickly and precisely in the lower graph. But for general views I've learned to live with it.

I contacted ResMed but they wouldn't discuss it at all. Then I asked my RT at DME supplier if he could intervene for me. He got the same run around. His remark was that ResMed's support Sucked!

I tried Sleepyhead but it would not work for this machine. After posting here for advice as to whether SH worked on the VPAP Adapt SV (Enhanced) I got no where. Later, reading on website for SH I finally decided it was not set up for this machine. Just as well, though I guess, as the newer version of my machine, I think is the S9-not sure though-came out. (I think it weighs about 10 ounces, ha ha. I do think SH will work for it.

I have a year and three months out of five years to go on this machine which cost $6,500-20% of that to me in 2010. I was told and I thought this machine was the cat's meow. And, I'm sure it was in July 2010. It weighs a good 8-10 lbs. and is about the size of a watermelon. I think I saw one for sale late last year for about $200-300.

I haven't checked street prices recently but if I could afford the newer version I might opt for it out of pocket. I hate that I and my insurance company paid so much but it has worked well and when I sleep, I know I am breathing well for the first time in years and years.

Thanks.

Someone recently had a new S9 Adapt SV for sale on the forum for around $1,000 if I remember right.
It will work with SleepyHead. I am using one now with SleepyHead.

send this guy a private message and ask him if he has one or not and price...as I can't swear to price.

I won't be able to consider an upgrade at this time. With interest rates kept abnormally low, by design, I might add, for the last number of years, investments have done poorly. In spite of being apprehensive of the stock market, I am willing to consider it.

Thanks.
