S9 Autoset and Clinicians Manual and Software

Post by HelpMeBreath » Tue Mar 04, 2014 9:52 am

Long time no see! Hope everyone is doing well. I purchased an S9 Autoset yesterday (no insurance - in cash) for my birthday. I didn't do a ton of research but it looked like a good machine.

I am going to be scouring the boards for info and experiences, but its been a few years since I was active in the sleep community and Im sure there have been some advances. I have also switched from a PC to a Mac. I am looking for the software that mere mortals are not supposed to get their hands on, is that still around? I think I also saw something about a new monitoring software that was designed by a member, for sale perhaps? If anyone wants to clue me in that would be appreciated. I will also spend the next few hours catching up on the forum and RTFM

Hope you are all well rested.

Ben

SleepyHead has a Mac version available. It's free. Check out and follow links in my signature for where to get it and how to use it.

If you need the ultra secret provider/clinical manual you can find it here
http://www.apneuvereniging.nl/forum/pdf ... manual.pdf

ResScan as you know won't work on a Mac but if you ever put a Windows environment on the Mac (like Bootcamp or Parallels) you can use it then. Send me a private message if that should happen or if you get your hands on a Windows PC.

Excellent.. After my post, I located Sleepyhead, installed it on my girlfriends PC and stuck in the SD card.. Lots of info. It's been a while so I have to get back to basics about interpreting the data. Not disappointed with a .95 AHI.

My last machine bit the dust 4 months ago and I have been experiementing with complicated sleeping postures, mouth guards, and all the other tried and trues, but after 4 days of feeling like crap, I decided it was time to go buy another machine. The S9 is definitely bright and shiny, and also extremely quiet. Still unsure if it's worth the $850 but when you are tired, you will do whatever it takes.

Appreciate the links.
