Anybody know how I can change a philips respironics remstar auto a-flex from c-flex to a-flex myself?

You DO KNOW that you have to change your machine from straight pressure (CPAP mode) to a range of pressures (APAP mode) don't you? (Your profile shows that you're using straight pressure.)

Once you do that, you'll have access to A-Flex. Basically, A-Flex is C-Flex for APAP mode.

Like Den says...you will need to change the machine to cpap mode to get CFlex option.
To do that you have to go to the clinical setup menu. Do you know how to do that?
What model machine do you have? How to get to clinical setup menu is explained in the clinical/provider manual.
Once you know exactly which model machine you have (Remstar part of the name is useless as it is used on all models) you can request the manual here.
