BiPAP causing air to go into my stomach

Post by Maxman190 » Fri Feb 21, 2014 5:45 pm

Nearly everyday I've waken up bloated from all the air that I swallowed. Do I need to lower my IPAP or EPAP? Is there a way to eliminate the bloating without changing the pressure (because doc says to keep it that pressure for my treatment)?

Sorry to hear that. I don't really get bloating too bad, so can't advise on the issue, however try typing aerophagia into the search box at the top left.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
