Pressure settings not saving on PR SystemOne 60 series

Post by cpierc01 » Sat Feb 08, 2014 8:07 pm

I am using PR System One Series60 with Bi-flex. I have been using the machine since June 2013 with great success. My pressure is EPAP 5 IPAP 11. No auto. 11 seems to be fine but I need to raise the low pressure to either 5.5 or 6 because I am having a lot of Hypopneas. Almost everything I have are these. I get into the Clinical Menu and try to change it but it says SD card reader issue. I have to remove the card to get into the menu. I change it to 5.5(I want to raise it slowly) but when I put the SD card back in it goes back to 5.0. Is there anything I can do?? I am an Information Technology Manager so I am fine with doing it but for some reason I am missing something. Any help would be great. Thanks

Most simple fix first; bad SD card? Try swapping it out for a different one and see what that does.

It wants me to remove the card before I get to the settings. Once I do that and change the settings exit back out of the menu I put the SD card back in and it says prescription accepted. The setting is back to 5.0

not sure why it would want you to remove the card
but i do suspect your prescription is on the card
trying again to find out the exact message you are seeing

It says remove SD card and re insert. I do then it lets me go change the pressure. I click exit and it says prescription accepted

The problem is that the scrip is set by the DME and written to the SD card.
So ... Assuming you have saved whatever data you wanted from the card either by downloading to SleepyHead or one of the Encore programs, the simple solution is to reformat the card on your PC, change the pressure setting on the machine with the SD card out, and then insert the card.

The machine will initialize the card, write all of the summary and detail data to the card but not write any of the waveform data.

You should be good to go.

either try taking the card out before the change
then leave it out or put in a blank card

post back with the results

Thank You I do download to Sleepyhead and I will do it again tomorrow just to be sure I have everything. I just wasn't sure if it had something on the card that it needed to make everything work.

the machine will work fine wo the card
you dont have to wait for sleepyhead just make a copy of the card on your hd
then either erase the card or use a blank
when you put a blank in it will copy all the data the machine has to the new blank card

You won't get the wave flow data for the night(s) used without an SD card in the slot.

I just got a new sd card, made the change and then put the card back in. Looks like it is working great. Thanks for everyone's help.
