Accessing information

Post by DanWinn » Mon Jan 27, 2014 8:26 am

I keep reading about all these people who can see their different numbers, etc. Can anyone tell me how to do this on my machine? I am clueless about this.

Unfortunately your machine (the 'Plus') doesn't give anything but compliance info - i.e. the doctor can read the card and tell the insce. co. you're sleeping at least 4 hrs a day and they'll keep paying for the machine. However, the 'Pro' model and newer ones allow you to collect info on the card to feed through a card reader into your computer, using e.g. Sleepyhead software, and give you all the stats and graphs etc. that you'd want to track your progress daily (or weekly/monthly). Either see if you can trade the machine for an upgrade, find a 'gently used' machine somewhere, or pay on your own online for one. Sorry .

The machine you have chosen in your profile is the PR System One Plus CPAP with CFlex..that would be model 250 or maybe 260 if you have the 60 series machine.
You might confirm that his is indeed what your machine is and that you haven't chosen the wrong machine in the menu choices.
Model numbers are on the bottom of the blower unit. 3 digit number with maybe DS or REF in front.
If you do have a model 250/260....like Julie says..that model doesn't collect any data beyond hours of use and you might want to read this blog especially the part near the bottom "help, I have a brick".

In the PR System One models...you need model number 450 or higher to have any useful data.
