2 nights a go I got 6 hours of sleep something I can not remember the last time that happened without the aid of drink or tablets. The next day(night) I felt a wake and had energy. I have slipped back to sleeping during the day but I really think that is just what is natural for me so rather than fighting it I will aim to work with it.
only managed my normal 3 1/3 hours sleep today and do feel tired but a little less than I use to so all in all looks like I am getting some positive affects from using Cpap.
So to those like me just starting out there is light at the end of the tunnel and I am looking forward to more good sleeps the 1 I had made me feel a lot better than my normal zombie state. being to be a happy Cpap user just wishing I was diagnose a lot earlier
Well a little glimmer of hope

Re: Well a little glimmer of hope
Good news Tony! Sometimes the improvements are subtle and it takes some time to recognize them. It took me awhile to make the connection that Mike was staying awake for a whole TV show and that he had picked up a book to start reading again.

Re: Well a little glimmer of hope
I, too, wish I had been diagnosed yrs ago, but in my case I was stubborn. I had for yrs listened to my dad and worry bout his ungodly snoring and breathing stoppages. I first learned of songs from a co-worker and recognized so things but ignored all this. Then a couple of yrs ago I was talking to someone and he recognized my condition and told me to get checked out. Then after my parents neighbor passed and I went over to pay respects, because his son did same a few months earlier when my dad passed. While paying my respects we ended up taking about apnea and his success, but once again I ignored again. It was in the back off my head. I finally started seeing a doctor and mentioned possibility of this condition which lead mgr to finally being diagnosed and cpaping ( a house head).
I too had my best night with the alien last night. 8-9 hrs sleep. While my ahi was up from previous days, my leaks were down and my sleepy head graphs looked better than ever. Still woke up many times, due to leaks, plmd, masks movement.
