S.F. East Bay sleep doctor?

Post by jaybeem » Thu Jan 02, 2014 1:40 pm

Anyone have a sleep doctor in the San Francisco east Bay that they can recommend will take the time to look at data and try to find a solution to ongoing fatigue?

Walnut Creek area? My cousin just started with a new sleep doc that she had good things to say about -- want me to get the name and PM you?

I'll up the ante a bit... how about a good sleep doctor in Central Coast California who is a great ASV specialist with lots of successful patients? I've got Medicare and HealthNet, BTW, so am covered in that regard.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

(she's not as prompt as my other cousin, her sister, so stand by)

I would check out the Stanford Hospital Sleep center. You can self refer yourself to them. I had a recent overnight study there and it was like a hotel room. The physicians seem very knowledgable. I was also hacing trouble with finding a good mask fit and they can schedule you with one of their techs to try on different masks. They have an AWAKE group that meets there and usually have one of their physicians present a talk on a sleep related topic. They also have vendor fairs with reps from different DME companies displaying their wares. They have many sleep services there and also a lot of information on their website.
