Daylight Savings Time Ends

Post by squid13 » Sat Nov 02, 2013 6:06 pm

If you can set your time on your machine you need to do it tonight.

If you all have S9 machines and want to change the clock...
Do it before bedtime tonight or after 12 noon (per the machine clock) tomorrow if you want to avoid some potential headaches.

Respironics users..you don't need to do anything because you can't change the internal clocks on the Respironics machines.

I'll take it! But some people will take it as an extra hour to party! That would have a huge negative impact on my day tomorrow, which will seem too short. The weekend will still not be long enough! Fixing a clothes dryer, picking up lumber and a sofa has taken a lot of my time away today!

I so dislike the time change! I understand the reason it's done, but don't like it anyway. They could have at least discussed it with me first! My clock doesn't like it either, but the time did change. I sure don't feel like I got an extra hour of sleep. Blah...

I don't like changing time, but what I hate worse is the government changing the date of the change. I have a ton of auto-set clocks, but all but one of them change on the wrong day now. It's so annoying because I rarely remember the OLD date and we wake up with numerous clocks having changed on the wrong day.

I debated replacing all the clocks, but what's the point when the government just keeps screwing it up?

Wrong, daylight light time isn't ending, we are making a once a year change to sane time keeping. The fools are keeping the daylight savings rule, as foolish as it is, time is relative. You don't gain or loose a hour, what you loose if the time wasted changing your clocks and routines. Jim

Hi Madalot... had a good laugh picturing all your clocks with different times. The old one in my bedroom didn't change and I finally got another one at Amazon. I wish everything was that easy to fix. But, it was only the one clock, not several like you have.

If the only thing the government did was fiddle with the time change, I could handle that. It's all the other stuff...

I had major shoulder surgery about two months ago. I have had to get up to ice my shoulder once or twice during the night every night since, until last night! And now, I have an extra hour… I'm very excited!

I am proud of myself for actually remembering how to change the time in my caller ID device. I used my cell phone to call my land-line and that action caused the time to set correctly.

Also, hate the time change because it means I will be coming home from work in the dark which I always find depressing. But it isn't like I can do anything about it.

I still woke up at the same time I do every day although the clock said I had an extra hour. But, I didn't take it. Instead I went around the house and changed the clocks on the stove, the microwave, in the living room, my bedroom and my watch. That took all of 5 minutes out of my extra hour. When I ran SH this a.m., it showed I had six hours as usual. Life goes on.

So how many clocks do you guys have to change? Last time I counted I think it was on the order of 22 places counting all the regular clocks, thermostat, shower heat control clock, water heater timer, oven, microwave, DVD player, car and motorcycle clocks, and on and on it seems! At least the phone and computer change on their own!
