nasal cushions

Post by towbarron » Fri Oct 25, 2013 3:56 pm

After only several weeks of use my nasal cushions seem to slide of my nostrils and I can`t get them to stay in place, they become to slippery to stay in place, does anyone else have this problem ? and does anyone know how to solve it ?
I use the Resmed Liberty

Do you wash or wipe them at all? I wipe my nasal pillows off every night thoroughly with water and dry them. This helps me have less leaks.

Yes, I wash them everyday with soft soap and water

Medi-Care authorizes 2 sets of pillows a month...I think with good reason. I have read here of people using pillows for months, but not me. Maybe something in my skin oils, but they only last two to three weeks for me before leaking.

Yes, just changed mine yesterday after a couple of months, was getting too leaky. Good last night again, though.

If you use soap, you have to be careful which one you use since some soaps and detergents can degrade nasal cushions.
