Machine maintenance?

Post by leam » Mon Oct 07, 2013 5:15 am

I've had my machine running for a few years now. Except for the critters chewing on cords or tubes, it's been great. How long do the machines last, and is their a "maintenance" that needs to be done on them to clean out stuff and replace worn parts?

Thanks!

Leam

There will be some here who will post to tell you to change the automatic transmission fluid every five years.

Do not do it! It's a waste of money and totally unnecessary.

There is no real 'maintenance' for the machines (tho' I suppose serious tweakers might disagree). They are used until they no longer work (unless a specific malfunction/break can be fixed) and then replaced. Most Insce. co's usually cover a new machine every 5 yrs.
