Free Resmed Nano mask test from DME?

My DME said that I could try the Nano for a week free of charge, is this normal?

Second question, I am on Medicare and so my APAP S9 is on rental (been using it for 3 months at 6.5 hours per night), but the paper work said it is rented for 13 months. Is this period ever reduced if the patient is using it on a regular basis?

Yes. DMEs have free samples just for this purpose. You have a good DME actually using the samples as intended rather than selling them out the back door.

No. 13 month rent to own (called a "capped rental") is required by Medicare. No options to shorten it.
