Can you tell is what machine, mask, and pressure settings that you are using?

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

I think you need to bring that rig in and have it set up properly. Sounds like there little or no air pressure.

The air may not come out your mouth when you're awake, but everything relaxes when asleep: different story then and if it does come out when asleep your therapy is not working.

To check if there is airflow, wave your hand above the vent on your mask.
There should be a breeze coming out of little holes on the front or on the elbow.
Air may not be coming out of your mouth because the tongue has closed it off---instinctively (it does that).
If you pronounce the sound of the letter "H", do you feel additional air going through?
