Res Scan Data Question

Post by Lazy Mountain Man » Tue Sep 17, 2013 5:06 pm

So I just finished my first 28 days of using a Res Med S9. I got the software and I am looking at the data and my AHI is only .7? Does this mean the APAP is working really well, or is it possible I don't even need to be using it? The home sleep study I originally did said I was just below the threshold of needing an APAP but the RNP went ahead and prescribed one for me. Maybe I am missing something? What elese should I be looking at?

Thanks,

Yes.

Very highly unlikely.

Cheers,

Thanks,
The ahi reported by the machine is what managed to happen even with treatment. So, with treatment, you are doing great!

This is not like the first sleep study where they count the events that happen without treatment. It is like the second sleep study can only count what manages to happen during treatment.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
