Please tell me if You use a RemZzzs or other add-on...

Post by BearVet » Sat Sep 14, 2013 3:01 am

Please let me know your success or failure to use this/these, it sounds like it might be a good idea.
I have begun to have mask leaks and eye dryness, as well as trouble falling asleep at night. I side-sleep and recently have started to use a Sinus Rinse (MD's orders). After a plugged nose on one side, I got up, and used a warm sinus rinse, and emptied a sinus that evidently hadn't been open in a while.
And now my face feels different, my mask leaks, and I'm trying to fix it. Oh, well I'm sure I'm better off than a lot of others.
Thanks in advance for reading and if you comment.
Total Noob...and it's a little hard to do...but will hang in there.

If you have eye dryness with the Quattro, you have leaks. Check out padacheek.com for her anti-leak strap as well as mask liners. They are more expensive than Remzzzs but they last much longer.

The pad a cheek washable liners are great . They are custom made by a cpap user on here. They are very comfortable, soft ,stop mask from sliding around , keeps mask clean , wicks away mask moisture, slows leaks down and last a good while . Treat yourself , you won't like that rubber on your face after trying these.
I wash mine every 4 days in the morning and it air drys easily during the day . But I have one for backup .

You can make your own out of t-shirts , but most of us don't want to do that.

note
I use them but I don't have any affiliation with them .

I have used remzzzs for a couple of months and they work well. Problem is the cost vs what they actually are. I scanned one and am making a cardboard template so I can cut my own liners out of old tee shirts. IMHO these will work just as well as any commercial product and won't cost me a penny to produce.

+1

I used both with my Quattro, they did the job.

I cut "maskets" out of dried out unscented baby wipes.
Nice and soft.

I use Pad a Cheek. Very soft. Very comfortable. Not expensive. Great customer service. Got mine in 2 days.

I also use the Mirage Quattro, and the mask liners stopped all leaks and are sooo much more comfortable than the mask without a liner. I tried the RemZzzs first and just love them. I then tried the Padacheek liner, but it just didn't work as well for me, which is too bad, because in the long run it is much cheaper, so I am back to RemZzzs. I usually get about4-5 nights with one RemZzz liner, but even at that they are still a bit pricey. But the way I see it, anything that can make a full face mask not leak and a lot more comfortable definitely gets my vote!

I use RemZzzzs every night. But I don't use them only one night. I usually go a week before I change the liner. Of course, I clean my face before bed, so it helps reduce the oil on the face / mask liner.

I use the pad a cheek liners with a Quattro air mask and love it. I have also used the pad a cheek with the Mirage Quattro with great success.

Ditto!!

I've had my 2 pad-cheek liners in use for a year now.... with no sign of them wearing out....

Beat that with a Rem-zzz!!!
