Has anyone used the sleepweaver or sleepweaver anew mask that has a mustache, do you have a high leak. I was thinking of getting one. Brad

The inventor of the first SleepWeaver mask had a full beard;
perhaps SleepWeaverMarketing, (a forum member) may have information for us about test results with beards and the Anew.

Hello,

The ANEW mask has been tested on people with both moustaches and beards and successfully so.
I would also like to let you know that if you have any fit issues with ANEW , we will personally help provide you with support with Fit .

Kathy

Anybody have any input on using cloth masks with high pressure therapy like BiLevel and ASV. Can they deliver the goods without a ton of leaks...

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

My answer is yes but it looks as if others have a different opinion on the SW. I have never used the Anew but I ordered one for my husband. I am going to have to give it a test. I do really like the Elan and I use it a lot. I used it last night in fact. I have nights when any mask will drive me straight up the wall. I have about 4 masks that I flip flop with. The Elan is always at the top of my list.

Thanks for the cloth mask rundown. Ha, ha... I know the feeling of too many masks, Stormy. I'm rotating thru three masks, two nasal and one FFM, and keep telling myself I have a lot of options these days. Unfortunately, I have to keep a lot of data about headgear strap lengths; positions to sleep in; weird fitting tips and other miscellaneous junk in my brain... it's not always easy to retrieve all that in the middle of the night when I'm fiddling with masks while half asleep. <sigh>

I have a full beard. I currently use a FitLife Total face mask when I need a FFM, and leak rates are "not bad." I don't like that I can't read with the FitLife on, so was wondering if anyone with a beard has compared these 2 types of mask?

Did you ever receive an answer to your question? I'd love to hear it if you did.
