New Experimental Device

This device works by electrically stimulating the tongue & back of throat.

Sounds like Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation which is not totally brand new. Though a quick look through their website didn't mention it that I could see or offer a more specific name if it was something different.

Trials have been going on for a while now all over the country and abroad..
Couple of forum members said they had it done as part of the trial but they didn't stick around to explain things very well...this was last winter I think.
You can google Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation and come up with information about a few studies that have been complete.
