Has anyone had any experience with this full face mask? It is pretty spendy ($180), and I wonder it it would need replacing every 3-6 months as recommended for some of the silicon gel seals out there.

Getting old doesn't make you 'forgetful'. Having too damn many things to remember makes you 'forgetful'.
I got my Hans Rudolph at my second sleep study in January. It came with the new headgear design with straps instead of the mesh cap. I wore this for about a month and found it extremely comfortable with none of the usual leaks that I had with other masks. I am not currently using it because of a topical medication that was prescribed for my face that causes my skin to become oily which causes the mask to slip and lose it's seal. Up until I started using the new medication it was wonderful.
If you do order the Hans Rudolph be sure you get the sizing callipers so that you order the correct size mask. If where ever you are looking to get the mask does not have the Hans Rudolph sizing callipers you can get them directly from Hans Rudolph.

Bookbear,
I am using the Hans Rudolph, just started CPAP last week, 4 nights ago. So far I like it, but am having a little trouble with leaking around the bridge of the nose. It looks like it will last a long time with proper care.
If you get one, be sure to order the "Sensa-Seal" optional seal that goes at the nose bridge area to help seal the top. Maybe some with wider nose bridge don't need it, but I seem to, so have ordered it and am waiting to try it out with the Sensa-Seal. I am disapointed that this seal is not included with the mask automatically.

I appreciate the comments..thanks! I did not know about the additional optional nose bridge seal. I forgot to state that I am bearded (full beard). Oddly, I had the best success with a FF mask at my sleep study (apparently I open my mouth with each apnea episode, thus defeating the cpap's effect), and that is why I am looking into various ff masks.
