Still snoring
Still snoring
I've been a CPAP user for a number of years. I recently changed machines to the Resmed S9 Elite and at the same time, my pressure changed from 9.5 to 10. I've been at the new pressure for a couple of months now and but since the change, there have been a couple of nights my husband noticed I was snoring. I don't understand why this would happen. What would cause this. Should I be concerned if I occasionally snore - should I change the pressure? I'm just not sure what I should do, if anything. Any help of advice would be appreciated.

Re: Still snoring
I think snoring means your airway isn't fully open. I suspect that means the pressure is insufficient to inflate it.
Re: Still snoring
Snoring doesn't always mean that something needs to be done with pressure. It depends on how much snoring and how often and what else might be going on with the therapy.
You have a machine that offers detailed review of your therapy including the actual snore levels. Sleepyhead or ResScan both show the snore graphs. I would advise using the software to see just what is going on with the snoring. It might not be very much and very short lived. I wouldn't go changing the pressure without first evaluating the need though.
