As the Wind Blows - Question
As the Wind Blows - Question
A few nights ago there was a brief power outage around 1:30 a.m. I awoke and no sooner the power came back and my ResMed C+Flex came back on blowing full blast, that I was unable to use it. The air just seemed to blow all over my face. Has anyone had this experience? I called my supplier where I purchased the machine 2.5 yrs ago, and they said they would have to have a factory tech call me. I said I will call my Pulmonary physician and see what he has to say, and then call back if necessary. I haven't called yet as I was busy at my office. I am hoping it is nothing serious.

Haven't had that experience, but the first thing that I'd try is to reboot it...that is, unplug it from the wall, and leave it unplugged for a while (like maybe 15 minutes or so). Then plug it back in and see what's up. Hopefully it will regain its equilibrium.
Do you have your machine on a surge protector and/or UPS? That's always a good idea, since brown outs and power failures are often accompanied by spikes that can damage electronics.
Hopefully, everything turns out okay.
