Software and Compatibility

Post by confusedsleeper » Tue Aug 13, 2013 6:14 pm

Hello there,

I'm really new to the SleepMapper community. And as such, I was wondering what the compatible Operating Systems are for the software? I know that Mac operating systems are not (I have one, and the setup for the installer can't be read by the computer). This is kind of frustrating, and I need to get my data sent in soon.

Any and all help is welcome!
Thanks ahead of time!

SleepMapper is Respironics' web-based portal for providing very minimal information about your sleep. There's a PC app for automatically uploading SD card data, and there's a iOS and Android app (requiring the $75 bluetooth adapter) that can bridge between your machine & their server. As you've observed, there's no Mac app for it.

SleepyHead is a free, open-source project that can read Respironics and ResMed data from SD cards and provide pretty much complete information (if your blower records data).

Encore is Respironics' software for doctors. I don't remember the name of ResMed's. Both are PC only.

Any of the PC apps can be run on a Mac using Parallels or VMware and a copy of Windows.

What kind of CPAP do you have? (Make & model #)

What do you mean you need to "get [your] data sent in soon"? For insurance purposes? For your doctor?

There's a Mac version of SleepyHead.

The SleepMapper SD utility for Windows is worthless. It keeps telling me my credentials are wrong even though they work on the site and the iOS app.
