I have had a cpap for a year. My mask is a nasal pillow. It fits and i like everything about it except i can't breathe through more than one nostril at a time. First it will be the right side, then I lie on my other side and before you know it, it switches and the other side is stuffed up. I have tried a steroid nasal spray for months and it seems like it makes it worse though i don't know how that could be possible.
Also I don't want a huge amount of headgear. I know it sounds vain but it messes my hair and i have androgenic alopecia which is hard enough to deal with as a woman who always had a nice full head of hair.
I went back to the cpap doc twice. He said my septum is a bit deviated but not all that badly. I don't have sinus problems other than this issue.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
I can only breathe through one nostril at a time

I asked my doctor about this and he didn't know the answer.
I also tend to find that it takes a few minutes for my nose to clear at all when lying down. Unfortunately, more reason to get a FFM
