electricity voltage in Canada same as in US?

electricity voltage in Canada same as in US?

I will be in BC Canada for two nights in August. I am ashamed to say I don't know if they use the same voltage that we do in the states. Do I need a converter? Or will I be okay plugging my Respironics M series auto into their wall socket? Will I have a problem with my extension cord also?

If you see the same outlet as in USA, go ahead.
North American standard is used in both countries.

YES.... everything is the same. I use my cpap machine in both countries, no problem whatsoever.

We use the same standard as the USA. You will find exactly the same electrical products in the hardware store as you do at home. We just speak funny and frown on guns, eh?

My grandfather wired the electricty in our house (US) and his (Ca). He used the same standards. You're good to go. Safe travels.
