I raised a baby robin once...found him with only skin and maybe a few pin feathers. Went from medicine dropper for food to me digging worms for him to finally setting him free. Awesome feel good experience.

I raised baby crows. They are very smart sneaky thieves. They can also fly backwards. I never knew that before.

Raised in the rural midwest, there were plenty of opportunities for rescuing little critters. Never a hummingbird for me. What a special video. Thanks for sharing.

A friend of ours did Wildlife Rescue for squirrels.
She had a litter of little black squirrels who had lost their mom.
Eventually they were released in a small town known for their black squirrels.

Chunky,i Spent a night in Lincoln a couple weeks ago on my way back from Lead/Deadwood . Nice town & friendly folks ! i pulled the bike over at a gas station to confirm my route with map & a nice lady offered help. The countryside from Valentine down through Grand Isle looked so green ,seemed like every farm was baleing hay
