Newbie with ASV issues (ever heard of one that didn't)

I just started using my machine about 10 days ago. Started feeling better the first week, but the last 3 days I have been sleepy like before. Getting up and having coffee, then falling asleep in the chair for several hours (I am retired). Last night, I kept waking when I was dreaming.
I was diagnosed with OSA and CSA, pretty severe.

I think I picked the right machine - on the machine: BiPAP Auto Adv Sys One, DOM

What software do I need for this? It is very confusing. Would be great to have info like others do here.

I have looked around and didn't see anything like my situation so decided to post.

Could you please add this to your subject line? ASV...like put it before the word issues. That way the ASV users who frequent the forum will spot your ASV in the subject line and you will get quicker and better responses.

Regarding the software...remove the water tank and turn the machine over and look on the bottom of the blower unit for a 3 digit model number. It may be preceded and/or followed by 2 or 3 letters (they don't matter)...the actual model number does matter.
If it is model 950...you can give SleepyHead a try ...sometimes it works with the 950 and sometimes it doesn't.
Send me a private message with the model number you have found....again if it is 950 I can get you started with Encore Basic which for sure will work with the 950.

If you see model 960 on the bottom...Encore Basic may not work because it seems that some of those latest machines have a different set of files on them and neither SleepyHead or Basic will work...but worth a try just in case you got one of the first ones.

From what I understand only Encore Pro 2.12 will work with the very latest 960 models and I don't have a source for it yet.
So if anyone out there does know where I can get my grubby little paws on Pro 2.12 could you please let me know privately.
I can find Pro 2.11 but again it doesn't work with the very latest 960 machines.

ASV machines can take quite some time for the full benefits of its use to be felt. So it may just be that you need to give it more time but frequent wake ups are going to mess with your sleep architecture and you can't get the needed sleep cycles for good restorative sleep. So next time you wake up try to figure out if there is anything at all that you remember that might be a factor like leaks or pressure changes or whatever.
