Place to buy a CPAP Pillow in Oz and looking for TAP PAP

Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a Hypo Allergenic CPAP Pillow in Oz. I know our host have them but was wondering if anyone know of a source in Australia.
Also looking for a TAP PAP Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask to try out, if anyone has one for sale please let me know.

Finding stuff like that in Australia is, unfortunately, a crap-shoot. For anything other than a few of the more basic/popular masks or equipment, it seems that the only sources for more specialised or less popular gear is overseas and online vendors (many of whom may claim they're in Aus but are really grey importers).

I am in South Africa and we have similar issues with suppliers. I have ordered one from the SA website of Fishpond. (Local of fishpond.com) Maybe oz also have a local fishpond site? Worth a try.

I've only been back for a few months now and am trying to source a reasonable supplier locally, but unfortunately most shops here have over inflated prices. I thought a fellow Aussie may have found somewhere online to purchase these other than the US ...guess not. To the members with constructive feedback to my questions, thank you! It is appreciated as always.

unfortunately the only thing I've found that was a reasonable price in Australia was my mask and that was through ebay.

The Mask Guy mentioned a while back that they were working on getting DMEs in Australia to carry the Tap Pap...it's in my big long thread on the Tap Pap review somewhere but I don't think that it has been finalized yet. I can't remember if it was Lin(I don't)care or one of the other big DMEs like (Cr)Apria . Also don't know if they finally have shipments available. Lincare rings a bell though...might check with them if you can.
Cpap.com as far as I know would be the best source.
Though I wonder if the Airway Management Home website might offer some way of finding out if there are any suppliers yet in Oz.

Have no idea at all about cpap bed pillows from Aussie suppliers. So sorry.

The TAP PAP is not in Australia yet. We will post on this site (as people are interested) and on the TAP PAP site when it is actually available. People can then email Airway Management if they want help finding a CPAP dealer carrying the TAP PAP in Australia.

I was looking at buying a cpap pillow a few months ago and after doing my research, i ordered the cpap pillow from cpap.com. Unfortunately, i could not find a local supplier in Oz. The pillow is ok however it isn't the most comfortable pillow i've slept on. Not long after getting it, i spotted a $30 contour pillow at my local shopping centre and decided to try it as well. Not only is it extemely comfortable but i also find that it accomodates my mask better than the cpap pillow - and it was the half the price!

I found that (for me, at least), the cpap pillows with cut-outs were practically useless, especially with the Swift FX.
I use a regular bed pillow--one that would be comfortable either with or without the mask.
Try whatever seems most comfortable, starting with every pillow you already own.
