Sleepyhead software - what am I missing?

Post by harryb » Sat Jun 22, 2013 5:52 am

I've tried installing the "current" version from sourceforge (0.9.2), and tried 0.9.1 with the 60 patch. I have a Remstar Pro CFlex+. When I try to import data, it tells me there isn't any data. What's on the card are lots of files with names like 0000001002.005.

Help?

Make sure you point to the ROOT (or Top) directory of the drive your SD card is in, not any sub directories....

I too was unable to import directly from my card for some reason. I just created a folder on my computer and I drag the folder from the card and put it in that folder, then import from there. Works with no problem.

Yes, like E:/ or wherever you card is ...

Great! I've got the data imported.

Now - what is it telling me? AHI is in the .80 to 1.0 range. Average total leaks are around 30. RERA Index is around .4 Hours per night is around 7.

Thanks,
Harry

That sounds pretty good, but the leaks could be better ... But not knowing what you have for a machine ... Some record total leak (includes mask vent) others subtract out a guesstimated vent rate ...

PR machines report total leak, which includes the flow through
the mask's vent. 30 is fine.

I just updated my copy of Sleepyhead. The "current" version is not the latest and greatest - further down on the page where you saw the "Current" there is a link to other versions. One of these is to 0.9.3. This may fix the problems you are experiencing, although I can't guarantee that since I am not a developer and the software is still beta.

Good luck.

I have a Respironics Remstar Pro CFlex+.

I've been using a CPAP for 10 years; I've had this machine about a year. But it's gotten to where I'm sleepy during the day again. Maybe it's time to go back to the doctor.

Sorry Harry, I missed where you originally posted that ...

Yes, it would be good to see a Dr of your having more/diff problems ... Your numbers look pretty good, but remember one night does not make a trend ... There also could be other reasons why your sleepy in the daytime.

The current Windows version is 0.9.3. It's here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyh ... e/download

It's worth the upgrade in my opinion.
