Pad A Cheek is a Hit!

Post by Denial Dave » Wed Jun 12, 2013 6:22 am

Yesterday was my 9 month review with my sleep doctor. I had a 90 day review & this was my 6 months check-up

While taking my machine out of the bag to get my SD card.... folks spotted my green pad-a-cheek mask liner on my Quattro mask.

Before I knew it, I had 2 techs, a DME rep from Apria and the 4 patients that were in the waiting room oohing and aahhing over my liner.... and then they say the headgear fleece.

There was a party going on in the waiting room!!!

Fortunately, my bag had a few of those pad-a-cheek business cards in it that Karen includes with the liners to hand to folks.

While I was seeing my doctors, all those folks were checking out the pad-a-cheek website on laptops and smartphone!

The DME rep stopped me on my way out and asked to check out the pad-a-cheek stuff on my mask again.

oh yeah..

AHI after 9 months of use = 0.6
My blood pressure has dropped from 135 over 84 in December to 120 over 80
I've dropped just over 10 pounds since December

I feel great and my health is improving

Yippee

I see the doctor again in 8 months

Nice check up Dave. I'm happy for you!

Feeling better is, well, better.

I bought a set of pad-a-cheek fleece/velcro strap covers and I like 'em.

I'm hoping for the same results as you!

Take care

Thanks a lot; you're probably the reason my order shipped late.

(I know she was out of town for a few days)

Yes! Your numbers are looking great. A lot of hard work but so worth the effort.

Love those Pad-a-Cheeks!! I couldn't use my mask without them.

Congratulations to you!

thanks!!

it was pretty funny, I was fumbling in the bag to my SD card out of my machine. I pulled the mask out and set it aside.....

The tech grabs it and says "what have you got there?" The next thing I knew, I was giving a demo on my pad-a-cheek Quattro mask liner and headgear fleece padding to everyone in the office and waiting area.

LOL

That is so neat, Dave! You described the waiting room gathering so well, I could see it all unfolding in my mind's eye. LOL

You deserve some promotion points for getting the word out on Pad-A-Cheek. Actually, I think it's a great thing that people be advocates for what works, and try to spread the word on these kinds of products. You did a good thing.

Many months ago, I was at my DME store, and while talking to my RT, I mentioned some of the products I've been introduced to on this board, products like new masks, pad-a-cheek liners, head pillows, etc. She was very interested in what I talked about, and immediately went online to find the pad-a-cheek site, plus mentioned it to the other salespeople in her office. She also looked up the other products I mentioned. She said she would make a note of the pad-a-cheek website for future reference. I went to see her a couple of months later, and out-of-the-blue she mentioned the pad-a-cheek liners. She DID remember that I had told her about them, and I'm pretty sure that she's now referring other patients to the site. So I do think it's important to get the word out to dr's, RT's, DME's, etc. about all the great products that are available, so they can pass it on to other cpapers.
