Hi everyone, I am new to this.
Is anyone familiar with a change in cpap from a 9 to a 11. My doctor called me today after a sleep study this week and said my cpap would be changed this week. I hope this will improve my sleeping.

Hi Beth,
The number, as far as I can tell, is insignificant. The fact that it is being changed only means that your study showed that an 11 will get you to normal levels of oxygen etc. while you are sleeping. My machine, which I will use for the first time tonight, is set at 10 and as far as I can tell my tests results were really crappy. When I went back for a test (titration I believe) to determine the pressure to set the machine they came up with 10, as that was the level that my body responded to.
I hope that helps and good luck on the new setting.
