Instruction manual with machine

Post by pratzert » Mon May 01, 2006 6:06 pm

It seems to me that I've read a few posts from people who have had their new AutoPAP machines delivered and they needed some sort of manual for their machine to show them how to set the adjustments.

Is it some "Special" technicians manual or is the DME bringing the machine without their owners manual to keep the owner from making changes in the settings?

I'm waiting for a RemSat Auto w/c-flex. I certainly hope the DEM brings all the books with it.

Am I going to need something "EXTRA" in the way of a manual to allow me to learn how to adjust things on the machine?

Thanks, Tim

The DME won't bring you the manuel, it would cut into his business on E-Bay.
The don't want you to set the machine, it would make them redundant.

You also need the software and reader to make informed decisions about your treatment. (Most of the time the DME or Dr. don't have the info to make a informed decision about what works best for you either.)
