OT: Taking an evening off from watching nightly news.

Post by jnk » Mon Apr 15, 2013 2:43 pm

My heart goes out to the runners and spectators in Boston.

But I just can't handle watching such things over and over in the media. I don't think it's natural to do so.

So I'm skipping watching the news tonight.

But hey, that's just me.

I stopped watching the nightly news over a year ago cuz I realized it was all fear propaganda to keep the masses from thinking for themselves ... but hey, that's just me.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I haven't watched the news in years. Wen I want news I check some internet sites and never read the comments.

My condolences to the people in Boston.

I am sure to watch a couple of hours tonight in the hotel. I am so fond of the city of Boston.

It seems like none of the runners were injured by the blasts. Home is reporting to me that all the locals are safe.

Hope the guy is already in custody.

May God be with the injured and their families and friends.

May God be with the Thin Blue Line and all first responders!

May God guide the hands of all the doctors and other medical professionals.

There is no such thing as "news" anymore. Nowadays, all the news programs are heavily propagandized from either the leftist or the right wing perspective. MSNBC, CNN and the Bloomberg channel stuff is from the leftist slant. Fox News its from the right wing slant, although after the stupid soros lawsuit against Glenn Beck, Fox News seems increasingly watered down.

I dont believe much of what I hear on TV news programs anymore. Too much of it is just unreliable.

Oddly enough, I have thought that Al Jazarah English (spelling?) is a pretty good, more neutral or "just the facts ma'am, just the facts" news source.

I hate the videos they insist on presenting on some internet sites.
I can read just fine; and for news, I don't feel obligated to watch a stupid commercial before every story.
On TV, their habit of holding back something interesting until the very last thing infuriates me.
Especially when it (usually) turns out to be a pale substitute for what they make you think it is.
It's dishonest; and how on earth did journalists get their jobs?
Too many can't spell, construct an intelligible sentence, or figure out how to do research.
I knew it was somewhat political, (so I chose another career), but this is just ridiculous.
(frog rant ending now)
