Mirage FX Mask - what accessories to use?

Post by melindy » Thu Apr 11, 2013 4:21 pm

I finally got the smaller size for the Mirage FX for her mask and it fits, yay! I really like the way it fits too, it's very flexible and comfortable for me. The forehead piece works well for me- it's small enough and not too hard.

I've been holding off on getting any accessories until I found a mask I liked enough to keep using regularly. I am having some leaks I can feel because I'm a stomach sleeper so I need to work on that.

The masks in general have been giving me some acne, even though I've been washing the masks and my face obviously.

Any suggestions for accessories that work well with this mask?

I like the Low Neck Pad from Padacheek (2nd item down on page): http://padacheek.com/PAC-Neck.html

It makes the headgear more comfortable. Padacheek also makes a mask liner for this mak, but I've never felt I needed one with this mask, since leaks weren't an issue.

You can make a mask liner out of some old Tshirt material. That will help with the skin breakouts.
Long term you might like Padacheek liners. They won't slide around so much and they will last forever with common sense care.

Thanks, the pad a cheek was one of the things I was thinking of that I couldn't think of that I had seen talked about that I wanted to look into.

Did you get the liner? I have this mask and I do have some leaks from moving around. I'm wondering if the pad a cheek mask liner will eliminate this problem.
