TrueFit mask, anyone seen this?
I'm sure this has been covered, but I'm curious why a company in the US isn't doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4cvgYW9FqM

Good Question, Catalytic !
I’m a little new to the World of CPAP, but that was the first question I ask to a fellow at my DME.
I would think that it may be so costly to make a liner or hard mask that no one would get enough mask orders to go into the business.
Just to compare Apples and Oranges. When I started running years ago I ask the same thing as to running shoes. I wanted to buy a pair of running shoes that was made just for me. Runners will do anything to cut a second off of their mile time.
To my surprise there was a company that did just that, they made custom running shoes. Of course then if you bought the best pair of running shoes that money could buy out of a retail store you would have to pay $125.00.
If you ordered a pair of custom running shoes one would have to come up with $500.00.
Knowing how expensive making custom mask might be, I would think that would be the main reason that custom CPAP Mask aren’t manufactured at this time.
I would certainly pay $400.00+ for a custom made mask; however I don’t think that my insurance company would do likewise.
In time Custom Mask might be made available for those willing to pay the Up-Charge between Standard and Custom.
I think it’s a great idea and some up-start will more than likely come up with something in time and make a fortune.
Although Custom Mask, as far as I know are not on the Market at this time, it’s not a bad idea. A Custom Mask Kit would have to be sent back to the manufacture, but I wouldn’t think that it would be that difficult.
I don’t believe that you and I are the only ones thinking about a Custom Masks.
Catalytic you never know you made just get the ball rolling with your post. By the way if you ever come up on a company in this Country that makes them send me a PM and I will do the same for you.
