SleepyHead Graph Help, Please 3/21.13

Post by G'night Gracie » Fri Mar 22, 2013 3:17 pm

I'm feeling sharp as a marble today after waking all night trying to manage mask leaks. Maybe I only woke up one gazillion times, but it sure felt like more. It's only night six, but because I don't know how to interpret these graphs, I don't know if I'm headed in the right direction, or what to change if I'm not. Pretty sure I'm not mouth leaking, as I'm taping and wearing a mouth guard; doesn't bother me. Also, just bought Lansinoh to try tonight for a better seal on the nasal pillows. Please let me know what you see in these graphs, cpap swamis. Feedback most appreciated! Edit to add that I was mostly awake watching TV for the first two hours, trying to get some one-on-one time with my mask.

Have you tried the other sizes for the nasal pillows? Or is the mask moving on you as you lay down?

I was having problems with mask leaks on full face and nasal. Not so much on nasal pillows.

Other than the leaks (which are hard to see in closeup detail due to the scale)....your report looks fine.
You aren't the person trying to wear the Swift FX backwards are you?
If you are waking up a gazillion times fiddling with the mask and leaks....something wrong with the fitting or the size of the nasal pillows or both. If your mouth is taped...and that tape is staying in place then something is wrong with the fit of the mask. It won't do that if properly fitted with correct size.

Did I give you Jan's hints about fit and a link for the video?

I'd be interested in viewing Jan's hints/link. Thanks, Pugsy.
