S9 autoset sound?
S9 autoset sound?
I have had the S9 for about a week now and every 10 seconds I hear a faint tick tock and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is? I can only hear this when it is not in use. I also have the humidifier attached to it also. Enquiring minds want to know.
Re: S9 autoset sound?
Do a search on S9 and sound and see if any of the other sound reports are similar. Various users have reported various sounds. Not sure if the cause has ever been clearly nailed down.Edgeguy wrote:I have had the S9 for about a week now and every 10 seconds I hear a faint tick tock and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is? Re: S9 autoset sound?
I have noticed this clicking sound too. And apparently so have a lot of others
I actually contacted Resmed about it this it the email they responded with...
"This clicking sound occurs as a result of the H5i software’s over-protection test, which performs checks on a particular component every 10 seconds. This is normal operation and poses no risk to the patient.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to call our Technical Support Department at 800-424-0737 option 6 then option 2”
Pretty annoying normal operation in my opinion
They also said it is fine to unplug the unit when not in use to avoid hearing the noise...
