Sleepyhead Won't Read Data

Post by ronlsujones » Sun Feb 10, 2013 10:32 am

I have a Respironics BiPAP AVAPS machine and can't get Sleepyhead to read the data. I tried all options found on the site like copying data to a directory on the machine. Is Sleepyhead compatable with the machine?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron,
Perhaps you could add your equipment in your profile as I have done. I'm thinking you have a series 60 model in which case:
a) There is a patch that will allow you to import data, but
b) Unfortunately, much of that data will still be incorrect.

If you are interested I know the developers are seeking data sets with which to test. Perhaps one will reply to you. If not I'll happily put you in touch...

Try this thread for a link to the patch.

You could also try Encore Basic ... if you need help finding that let us know.

What is the model number on the bottom of your machine? It's on a little sticker and is a 3 digit number

When you do the import are you stopping at the drive letter where the SD card is or are you going to the P Series folder? If you have anything other than the drive letter where the SD card is sitting in the "choose" box..you have gone too far.

SleepyHead does seem to have some compatibility issues with some of the higher end models. Not all but some. We don't know why one person with a higher end machine can use SleepyHead and another with exactly the same machine (and not making import error) will have a problem.

You are using a SD card aren't you? Not the Encore smart card that is blue and about the size of a credit card.
If your machine doesn't have a SD card...SleepyHead won't work at all because it is not compatible at all with the Smart Card and the DT 3500 card reader.

I wasn't aware of this particular model being offered yet in the 60 series models but maybe they have...if your machine is a 60 series model 60 will be the last 2 digs of the model number.

SleepyHead is only compatible with the PR System One machines that use a little SD card. It won't work with any of the older models that use the smart card.
