Back up power I get on this site, for I have the fear the next time a hurricane causes power outages in eastern NC and I've yet to even start treatment. Why specifically toilet paper though? If its like the south east with any sort of storms.. I hope you bought bread, cause there will be none left.

You must be kidding...unless you still have an old Sears catalog sitting around.

Not saying it wouldn't suck to run out of toilet paper.. just seems odd. But then again I live in coastal carolina... We don't really get snowed in. Plus we buy bulk packages of toilet paper, so its not usually a concern.

Things that may already be gone:
bread, milk, baby formula, disposable diapers, bottled water, beer.

To victims of storm Nemo: If you get stuck with no electric power backup then try,

Use a chinstrap, under your mandible, to push your tongue to the roof of your mouth and hold it there and thus avoiding it from falling into your throat and causing an Obstructive Apnea. This is instead of using your XPAP.

I am watching the weather reports too. My youngest lives in Nova Scotia and has to work tomorrow. She buses it. Hopefully everything will be shut down tight before she leaves for work. They have a Blizzard warning, not just a storm warning, they are expecting 90 - 120 km wind gusts along with the 40cm of snow.

Hope all goes well in Nova Scotia. Everyone stay safe out there. I forgot about the beer that is indeed gone quick.

It is not nice to taunt mother nature As a penalty, your area will be hit big time when the next snow storm hits.

Yeah, well, after the 2 Sandys I figure we need to get cut a little slack.

And by "miss", I mean "12 inches or less" and the Troopers not actually enforcing the travel ban.
