Where to check my cpap

Post by kdoron » Tue Jan 22, 2013 10:12 am

I have been using a Resmed Autoset Vantage S8 with HumidAir 3i since October 2009, but lately I am very tired and not concentrated every day, all the day long.
Can someone give me some advice where (in Miami) I can check the cpap and maybe also fix it, if it has to be fixed?
Thanks in Advance!

Does your unit give you data on whether or not you are having apneas? That may be the problem rather than the unit not working. If it has been awhile since you saw your sleep doc, perhaps it is time for a check up.

What makes you think it needs 'fixin'? Has it stopped blowing air?

Hi,

That is a great question. It is possible that the human needs the fixing. Bodies can and do change over time, and changes in weight and body mass affect how well CPAP works. It is possible that our poster needs to do a follow-up with their sleep doctor, and possibly have a follow-up titration sleep study.
