Newbie Needs Help Decyphering Sleepyhead Data
Good morning everyone. I've just finished my first week of CPAP therapy and I am amazed at the difference a little extra air makes. A most pleasant and unexpected change has been my decrease in appetite. I just haven't had that desire to eat like I used to. If I'm not hungry, I just don't want to eat. Anyway, I was wondering if you all could help me in decrypting the data I'm accumulating. My AHI has been rising over the past two days, and I'd like to understand why. I'm perfectly comfortable in sharing the screenshots and whatnot. I'd normally just let my Dr. handle things like this, but I was told to send in the SD card to the sleep lab in three months, and three months seems like a long time to be stumbling around in the dark without a clue. So if you are willing to analyze my data, just tell me what you need and I'll gladly post away. Thank you!

Above thread talks about how we do the images so others can see them in our posts.
Mainly just need a typical detailed report from whatever software.

just my 2 cents, but it looks like your min pressure is too low. Most of your central events coincide with spikes in your leaks graphs, so it should be safe to ignore them. The obstructives look like they're resolving around 13 cm/h2o.
If this were my graph, I'd up the minimum pressure to 9.5 and leave the max pressure alone for now. Pugsy or Roby Sue can give you a better explanation.

When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!
Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

Thanks! I'll try increasing min pressure tonight..DiverCTHunter wrote:just my 2 cents, but it looks like your min pressure is too low.
