SD card says no data

Post by sleepnasta » Fri Jan 11, 2013 6:49 am

I tried importing data from my SD card to sleepy head today but it's saying no data for last night. When I put the card in my
Machine last night it said, "reading card". Ideas for what to do please?

I`d stick it back in the machine, but I had the same problem after changing cards to a new one. I recreated a new profile in Sleepyheads, and all went well. New user xxx becomes xxx1 or whatever, and I could get my new data...

Resmed machines will read the card every time you put it in the machine and if you forget to put the card back in the machine for a night or two it will also write the summary data stored in the machine back to the card. Sorry I can't help you with the "no data" problem other than to suggest you try reading it again.

I've had the same problem. The only thing that works for me is to download whatever data is present on the card and not use it again. Simply put in a new SD card and the problem goes away..... for a while. Others have suggested trying to clean the contacts on the card..... that also may work..... for a while. I read something about a bad batch of Resmed cards but not sure. A new card should work and there will just be a day void in your overall data.

Maybe this is what happened. I just checked
Sleepyhead again and there is limited summary data but
No graphs. I forgot to put the card in my machine the two nights prior to last. I'll see what it says tomorrow. Thanks

If you have the card in the machine tonight you should have graphs when you check the nights data. Resmed machines do not store the graph data internally you must have the sd card installed to get it.

Dumb question, Is the lock set on the SD card, this could cause a no data reading if the card is locked and the machine can't write the data to the card. It something to check.

With a Resmed machine if you insert the card with it set to read only the screen shows an error and warns you to unlock the card.

Thanks for the suggestion. That was the first thing I checked!
