1st visit to sleep dr. since I got my CPAP mach.

Post by whoslucky » Thu Dec 20, 2012 10:52 am

Today was the first time I went to the sleep doctor since I got my CPAP machine on 9/28/12. I don't know what I expected but it seemed like a waste of time and money. She had some questions for me. Was it helping me sleep better? No, not really. Do I feel any better? Same answer. Do I think I got any benefit from using the machine? Again, not that I can see. Do I want to go for another sleep test? Heck no! Three was enough. My overall impression was she could care less. I'm getting used to used the machine and I hope after I've been using it for a longer period of time I'll see some benefits from using it. I was wondering if others have had the same experience. I didn't expect a miracle but I expected more than what I've seen so far.

Well with an escape there is not much data to help you. You should have gotten the doctor to prescribe a machine which lets you track what is happening at night.
